Every month, the lining of uterus prepares under the action of female hormones which sheds at the end of the cycle. The normal length of the menstrual cycle is 28 days, varies in every individual woman. Although it’s normal for it to be a bit shorter or longer than this. The bleeding may last from 2 to 7 days.
